Efficient, effective, proactive and sustainable disaster risk management organization

Disaster Recovery Limited is a Malawian organization involved exclusively in the area of disaster management, relief and recovery. It aims at improving and safeguarding the quality of lives of Malawians that are affected and vulnerable by disasters. It has three approaches of capacity building, disaster recovery and relief services. This Non-Governmental Organization was established on 8 November 2019 following the need for action to disaster effects for the people of Malawi.


Disaster Recovery Limited is responsible for coordinating and directing the implementation of disaster management programmes in the country in order to improve and safeguard the quality of life of Malawians especially those vulnerable to and affected by disasters in the impact areas.
